1. Comercial Policy


1.1 The Seller who operates through the website www.knotkids.com is Enoidua, Lda, Tax ID n.º 508 109 884, with headquarters located in Rua José Pereira 10, 1685-635 Lisboa  Portugal, hereinafter referred to as Knot. Knot has products for sale in the website www.knotkids.com, and the "e-commerce" services are available exclusively to end-users, "Consumers".


1.2 These general terms and conditions of sale exclusively govern the offer, transmission and acceptance of orders made in www.knotkids.com between consumers of Knot’s online shop (www.knotkids.com) and the seller.



2. Prices


2.1 The prices of products displayed on the site include the value added tax (VAT). The shipping charges apply per order. The exact price of the shipping fee will depend on the country where your order will be delivered.


2.2 Your total price
The total price specified in the final checkout menu includes taxes and shipping costs. The prices are indicated at the time of order confirmation. Please pay only the exact amount specified in the order confirmation and make individual payments for each order.


2.3 Price changes
Prices of products featured on this site are liable to change. Knot reserves the right to change prices without notice. The prices displayed at the time of purchase are the prices applied to the transaction.


2.4 Errors in prices
Please note that even though the site is updated with extreme caution, it is possible that price information on the website contains errors. Knot cannot commit to the offer and reserves the right to cancel your order, in case such errors occur.



3. Order security


3.1 The knotkids.com shop uses security technologies. Your payment information will be encrypted from the moment you log in until your transaction is processed and will not be saved on a public server. Although we use encryption software, security of information and payments transmitted via the Internet or via e-mail cannot be guaranteed. Knot shall not be liable for any damages suffered as a result of the use of electronic means of communication including, but not limited to, damages for failure or recurrent delay in the delivery of electronic communications, interceptions or manipulation of electronic communications by third parties or by computer programs used for communicating or transmitting viruses.


3.2 If you choose to pay using an ATM reference number, your order will start being handled as soon as we receive the payment. You have until midnight of the following day to process your payment, if we do not receive payment by then, the order will be cancelled.



4. Ownership Reservation
Knot owns the company's products until it has received payment, in full, for all of the products ordered.



5. Payments


5.1 Methods of Payment
You can pay using the following methods; Paypal, Visa, Visa Electron, E-pay, Mastercard, Mastercard Electronic, Multibanco,  Maestro, Mbway and Klarna. We do not accept any other payment method besides those mentioned. Your Data is collected using the most technologically advanced encryption systems (SSL). We also use VeriSign to ensure the protection of your data. Please do not try to pay by any means other than those specified. If you do, we will not be held responsible for loss of payment or any other damages that may arise.


5.2 Payment Processing
Payments with Credit Card will be charged on your bank account as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. In the case of Credit Card payments, all details (e.g. card number and expiration date) will be sent by encrypted protocol to the company that provides the remote electronic payment services, without third parties having access to the information transmitted. This information will not be used by Knot except for carrying out the procedures required for purchase or refund, in case of return, in accordance with the exercise of the right of return, or for communicating cases of fraud to the police. The purchase price of the products and the shipping costs, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to the account when the purchased products are actually shipped.



6. Quality and Warranty


6.1 Knot sells only products that meet high quality standards. The main features of each product shown at www.knotkids.com can be found on each product page.


6.2 Products made of Sterling Silver are legally marked, when applicable. They all have information about weight and metal purity. More information on precious metal products please read Consumer Information.


6.3 All products have an identification tag. Do not remove the tag of the product in case you want to return the purchased product. In case you decide to exercise the right of return of purchased products, Knot reserves the right to not accept the return of products that are returned without the tag or that have been altered from their original state or are damaged.


6.4 The products offered for sale in knotkids.com may not exactly match the actual clothing in terms of image and color, due to the Internet browser and monitor being used.



7. Availability
The satisfying of orders made on the site is subject to availability. Knot tries to ensure that all items offered for sale on the site are available in stock. However, Knot reserves the right to not accept any orders or cancel orders already confirmed for products that are no longer in stock. In these cases, Knot shall inform the customer of that fact and refund the amount paid or substitute the product for other available, according to customer preference.



8. Shipping Charges


8.1 Shipping charges are applied to each order. The exact price of each shipment depends the order amount and the location or country of delivery. For more details on shipping prices per country, please see the menu Shipping on the site. If the customer’s order exceeds the minimum value of order defined for your country or campaign, shipping will bear no cost, i.e. it will be free of charge.



9. Promotion Codes and other discount Promotions


9.1 Discount promotions that Knot may apply will have their terms specified, namely start and end date, type of discount and products included in the promotion. You can find information about current promotions on the Promotions tab.


9.2 Knot’s offers and promotions are valid only for the moment at which they are displayed on the site, unless the site informs otherwise. Knot is not bound to any offer, in the case of errors or spelling mistakes, pricing or other information on the site. Knot reserves the right to cancel any sale made bearing such errors.


9.3. A promotion code is a promotion type commonly used in online stores. When used in accordance with the established rules, a promotion code enables the user to benefit from a promotion/discount on the purchase of a specific product or for a set of products during the period indicated/associated with the promotion code/promotional campaign.


9.4 Promotion codes can only be used for online purchases made at www.knotkids.com. You may not sell, exchange or donate a promotion code. Customers with a promotion code cannot upload or provide a promotion code on any website or other public form of offer, donation, sale or exchange. The use of promotion codes for commercial purposes is not allowed. Promotion codes are not exchangeable for money.


9.5 Without prejudice to any other rights, Knot may have/has the right to immediately invalidate the promotional code if Knot has reason to suspect that a promotion code is being used: in violation of the assumptions mentioned above, through misuse, or in other cases where Knot has reason to proceed in this manner.



10. Returns Policy


10.1 Customer has the right to terminate the contract, with no need to state the reason, within 30 days. The deadline starts counting on the following day after have received the product.


10.2 In order to exercise your right of free withdrawal, customer must communicate to Knot your decision to terminate this contract by means of an unambiguous statement. Customer can send a mail for the address KNOT ONLINE, Enoidua, LDA, Rua José Pereira, 10, Famões, 1685-635 Lisboa, or can inform knot by e-mail (support@knotkids.com) or even through his/her customer account, by pressing the "Return" button associated with an item in your order. The withdrawal statement must be sent before the 30 days deadline.


10.3 All products have an identification tag. Do not remove the tag of the product in case you want to return the purchased product. In case you decide to exercise the right of return of purchased products, Knot reserves the right to not accept the return of products that are returned without the tag or that have been altered from their original state or are damaged.


10.4 In the event of termination of this contract, you will be refunded the full value of the returned products, including the delivery costs if the return has been for the entire order, no later than 14 days from the day Knot is informed of the decision to terminate this contract, provided that you have already returned the good(s). Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise by customer; in any case, costumer will not be charged of any costs as a result of such reimbursement. Knot may withhold the refund until it has received the returned goods.

12. Personal Data and Privacy Policy
Knot knows that personal data is important to you and as data recipient is strongly committed to protecting customer personal information. Knot shares with customers some important information, but we advise you to read the the full text of the company's Privacy Policy.


12.1 When registering your account at www.knotkids.com, in order to be able to make an online order, Knot will ask for your name, email, phone number, address and invoice address.



12.2 We collect and process your personal information in order to offer you our products and services in the best possible way; to create a smooth shopping experience in our shops and website; and to operate and maintain our websites and services effectively. If you consent, knot will send you marketing communications, through e-mail or SMS. You can edit your personal data or delete your account, any time, by accessing your “personal data” in our account.


12.3 Knot will retain your personal data for only as long as is strictly necessary for the relevant purposes for which the data were collected.
Thereafter, we will maintain your personal data related to your online orders for a 10-year period, in order to deal or reply to any complaints, issues or concerns related to the purchase. Likewise, concerning direct and online marketing, mending and reservations, we will retain your personal data for a 2-year period after inactivity.


12.4 As the holder of your personal data, a set of rights is conferred concerning your personal data and the way they are handled, being them the Right of opposition, the Right of Information, the Right of Access, the Right to Rectification, the Right to Erasure, and the Right to Data Portability. The abovementioned rights may be exercised at any time upon communication directed to ENOIDUA, LDA, to the contacts listed in the privacy policy.



13. Information on the site
Although Knot takes great care in handling its site, information, texts and graphic material may contain errors or be incomplete or incorrect. Knot shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of (or inability to use) the site, including damages caused by viruses or any inaccuracy or incompleteness of the information, unless such damage is a result of fraud or negligence on behalf of Knot.

Applicable law
These terms and conditions and all disputes arising in connection with these general terms and conditions, including their validity, use of the site or any purchase, must be governed by Portuguese Law.




15.
Knot’s Amendment to the Terms & Conditions
Knot has the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Customers are subject to the principles and terms in effect on the date of their order, unless the law or the competent authority imposes any amendments to them.
